Researchers looked at what happened in a child’s brain when they experienced different ways of storytelling. Audio-only and animation didn’t deliver on connectivity. Narrated, illustrated e-books, however, were the clear winner.

Every day, they would leave the classroom and walk or run laps of the playground for 15 minutes. So began the Daily Mile project, which has spread to schools around the world, including Australia. And it is making a big difference to the health of students involved.
