Safer online gaming webinar, from eSafety

Online gaming is fun and has many benefits, but it is also essential to understand what might go wrong. Join a free live webinar from the eSafety Commissioner to learn strategies for helping children stay safer online

The eSafety Commissioner is offering a free webinar for parents and carers exploring safe online gaming.

The one-hour live event will be held on three occasions throughout the month of June and just requires a simple registration to take part.

(Suitable for parents and carers of young people aged 8 to 13 years old.)

What the webinar will cover

This webinar will cover topics including:

  • the games young people are using and how they are engaging with them
  • the benefits of gaming and how to mitigate the risks
  • practical strategies to use at home and where to find help and support if things go wrong.

Thursday 9 June: 12.30 – 1.30 pm

Friday 17 June; 12.30 – 1.30 pm

Tuesday 21 June: 7.30 – 8.30 pm
